It all began on 12th May 2003. Bryant was born with severe brain injury. Thereon began a life akin to hospitals and more hospitals. Doctors told us that Bryant would not live long. Typically a baby with so severe injuries hardly makes it much through childhood. We then started journaling everything about Bryant, his days spent in the hospitals and his journey to the world.

Our first scrapbook was nothing at all like the typical scrapbook. We didn't know what preservation was all about so we used colorful papers we found in gift shops! Of course those were not acid free at all! Scrapbooking was unheard of in Malaysia and so the typical scrapbook shops don't exist here!

We chanced upon Scrapbooking while browsing the web one day! We were looking for more colorful and patterned papers and saw that it was listed under the Scrapbooking section on ebay.

There we discovered that embellishments and ribbons were popular in scrapbooks. From then on, we became addicted to  ribbons!!! We bought so much ribbons whenever we traveled to various countries and eventually had to sell some so that we could buy more!

Naturally ebay became our selling platform and the logo Scrap-n-Crop was coined as we thought of a name for our ebay store. Our ribbons quickly became an instant hit with the ebayers. As resources here are still scarce and our collection of scrapbook items continued to grow we then decided to set up an online store.

Scrap-n-Crop's goal is to provide a source of fairly priced scrapbook products and to provide gainful employment to friends and families of brain-injured children. As we continue to build working relationships with other international scrapbook suppliers, we also continue to build our Scrap-n-Crop brand.

We prefer to source from businesses that are actively involved in helping the under privileged and continue to create awareness for brain-injured children. We promote Scrapbooking as a therapeutic hobby, as a wonderful way to journal our lives, be it happy or sad moments. As well as ribbons, we hope to increase our product line gradually as and when the opportunity arises. We hope to one day be qualified and ready for conventions such as CHA and Memory Trends.
