It has been a week of ups and downs...I fell ill and it was so difficult packing and organising SnC when your head is spinning around and around! Thank you all for your patience if your packages have been delayed or your e-mails replied to a tat late.

On another note, we just heard from Julie Van Oosten, owner of Collections, that she'll be happy to come round here for our Art Retreat 2! Woo Hoo!!! We know everyone has been away for the summer holidays but the minute you can, do drop us an e-mail or take the poll on our blog on your preferred dates for Julie to come! We would love for as many people to come over so yes, you get to decide! If you have not heard of Julie, you deserve a knock on the head! HOLA! Spanish is the 2nd most used language in the world. It is not as sexy as Italian or as fascinating as French but all the same, you can almost hear the sing-song manner of the way it is spoken. Spain remains to me, the country I enjoyed going the most...oh and as I listen to sing-along Barney in Spanish...Sorry I got carried away...
Well, on to more exciting things, we are starting to get CHA Summer peeks...watch out in our blog as we share with you the new releases...it doesn't get any better than this! We will be introducing more new brands...they seem to be sprouting like mushrooms...almost as if calling out to me...well literally speaking of course! Are you all ready for our BIGGEST event ever? I keep thinking if I have forgotten something. Kits, check; lucky draw prizes, check; MYSELF, check!!! Oh well, we'll make do! He he...Rachel flew in last night, and we can't wait to meet up and go over the check list tonight! For all those who have given me your orders to bring along, forgive me if I missed them out. Boxes are all packed and if it is not there, I'll be sure to bring them on Saturday. Don't forget the event is in Royal Selangor Club @ Dataran Merdeka...not the golf club.
Last but not least, thank you everyone for the well wishes and prayers for Bryant and my mum. I have been blessed to meet you all through scrapbooking. It has most certainly made life more fulfililling! If at all I may not answer your texts and e-mails fast enough, I truly apologise. My e-mails and messages comes by the thousands you see..and there is only 24 hours in a day! Minus my day job...I am left with another 4-6 hours? How do I get by?

I just got back from the Banana Republic sales and how I wished it sold bananas because I am now broke! lol...My mum commented, mixing around with your scrapbooking buddies doesn't help. We all spend way beyond our budget and then we regret when we see the outstanding credit card bill. I know I went overboard when HSBC just sent me a bunch of cash vouchers as well as sending me broadway tickets. My personal banker proudly told me...wow, you are indeed one of our highest spender! Gulp! Nothing to be proud of, really...
So I am now trying my best to not over-order, but guess what? It isn't working!!! My carts with various manufacturers are overloaded!!! HELP!!! Most of the CHA Winter items are not here yet by the way but you now know, the Thursday Thrills we have are for real! A stitch at a time ... builds love and friendship. Its time again for that wonderful month of luuuurrve...Thank you all for being a part of my life. Scrap-n-Crop has indeed changed my world. Trust me, I would have been on a different path had it not been the discovery of scrapbooking and the existence of Bryant.
Yesterday, we had a power outage in my residential area as well as at my office...in view of this, the newsletter is a day late and we are therefore extending Thursday Thrill this week to Friday midnight. Thank goodness the power is back on now... I was so lost without my computer! Oh how dependent we are on it now ever since SnC!
More new arrivals this week. The all new Simply Handmade magazine by Scrapbook Trends is now available as well as the Scrapbook Trends and Cards. We are now offering specials for subscriptions. We love the books so much we took not 1 copy for ourselves but 2! And oh, the SLICE is also here...good news for those worried about the power intake as I see it takes in up to 240V...so there, I can now use it right away! If you are up for a demo, we'll be demo-ing it this Saturday during our Vintage Class...we have moved our class upstairs and we will definitely have more space...so don't fret eventhough its now practically full...Did I tell you we were going to have a blast? Watching Obama's inauguration last night, wow...I can't believe my eyes. It is indeed a change, a big change! Oh wow...who would have thought?

How time flies! It just dawned on me that LUNAR NEW YEAR JUST AROUND THE CORNER! And all I have done is buy new clothes for the kids as well as redecorated my Christmas tree as a Chinese New Year tree!!! But that's not all. More importantly, also on the same days, we are looking forward to CHA Winter 2009. I am holding back orders just to see if we can add some of the new Winter 2009 collections. So, if anyone sees anything they like, don't forget to e-mail me!
We are buzzing with activity, with our first crop party this Saturday! In the mean time, we are still uploading new items weekly. Wow! The FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 2009 HAS PASSED! What have you been doing? Well, I have been busy busy busy...finalising SnC's accounts, going to court again for Bryant and sorting out sign ups for our first class of the year! It seems for the last 3 years we spend our 1st week in court. Well hopefully this will be our last...
Oh and thank you all for the pre-order lists you have all given me...I am trying my best to please everyone so do bear with me k. There is so many on the list I want too!!! :P Never enough! And my oh my...typical girlie girls aren't we? I see one die-cut machine is never enough!!! Oh who am I kidding? Don't forget to send me your list if you havent already done so. I still haven't finalised the shopping cart...so...
Well, I better get moving. Its already 9pm. As I count down to the new year, I just can't help by feeling blessed with all our volunteers, for our customers turned friends, and for rooting for us! I cannot thank you all enough!

Finally!!! We got our new look up and just as we have expected, thank you all for the comments on the new site. One thing odd though, the colours viewed from the MAC is pretty much different from when viewed from regular PCs. Some may notice a sickly green...oh well...bear with us as we try to fix this! In the mean time, keep the comments coming...I now know for sure you care!
Christmas is here...literally here...I had visions of making hand made cards and a mini album. Alas, that did not happen! I am still struggling to update new stuff on the site. Yes, would you believe its 8 days to Christmas? Well, we bought glass ornaments....and a Christmas tree for the store...supposedly to make it a tree of all seasons BUT we ended up hanging new stuff on the tree...can you imagine that? More shelf space! Anyway, in the spirit of Christmas, our charity of choice is the Spastic Center in PJ. You can do your part by signing up for our photography lessons and potraits or family shoot. 20% of proceeds goes to this charity, so you have an excuse to spend! Lastly, before I forget, as some of you may have noticed, we are changing our look (thanks to our wonderful in-house designer, Natalia)! Its about time...I am getting bored (just like my boring wardrobe) and I am sure you'll be excited to see our new store. Many of you browse daily on our website and we are also upgrading to a bigger server to serve you better and to make browsing more pleasant. To do this, we'll have to shut down this weekend, the 20th - 21st December. So if you have any orders in mind, please don't forget to place them latest by this Friday, the 19th of December.
